Company description
Nestled deep in the Catskill Mountains (Cragsmoor, New York), the Dharmakaya Center for Wellbeing is a world apart. We were founded on the fundamental premise that physical and emotional wellbeing are equally essential, and that each serves the other. Our programs address both, with a core curriculum designed for spiritual growth, and a range of teachings and retreats designed to expand participants’ wellbeing. We have been voted the nation’s #1 meditation retreat center, #1 spiritual retreat center, and #1 spiritual retreat center.
We host retreats for 10-25 retreatants each weekend throughout the year and seek a chef to fill in when our head chef is away from the Center. Firmly believing that nourishing food is integral to wellbeing, we are passionate about creating meals that are both flavorful and healthy. We use the freshest, most nutritious, least processed foods available; when possible our ingredients are organic and locally sourced. Our kitchen is a peaceful and orderly place to work, with the opportunity to bring creativity and passion to our retreatant’s dining experience.
