Honest to Goodness Hospitality is hiring Human Resources Managers in Atlanta, GA and Nashville, TN. We are seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to manage and execute HR functions for our Nashville restaurants: Redheaded Stranger, Fancypants, and Butcher & Bee, and our Atlanta and Charleston based concept - The Daily.
There are hybrid roles, meant for detail oriented self-starters who are energized by people and process.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to make a real impact inside a growing hospitality company.

Job description
Human Resources has historically been a "department of one" for our company. With a transition in personnel coming up, we are rebuilding as a team of two whose responsibilities will mirror each other. One person will focus on Nashville, one on Atlanta & Charleston. Both team members will be part of a team of five who support our restaurants across administrative, financial, and HR functions. .
What You’ll Do
Lead all HR functions for restaurant operations
Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding for salaried and hourly team members
Partner with leaders on employee relations, coaching, performance conversations, and documentation
Maintain HR records, employee files, compliance documents, and reporting with accuracy and discretion
Administer and support benefits, leave requests, workers’ compensation, and other employee programs
Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, wage and hour requirements, workplace policies, and HR best practices
Help develop and improve HR systems, SOPs, trainings, and internal communications
Serve as a consistent, approachable resource for managers and employees across multiple locations
Support culture-building initiatives that reflect our values and strengthen retention, engagement, and belonging
Identify issues before they become problems and create practical, thoughtful solutions

Qualifications
3+ years of HR experience, ideally including multi-unit hospitality environments
Working knowledge of HR compliance, employee relations, documentation, and people operations
Experience supporting managers through coaching, corrective action, and performance management
Strong administrative and organizational skills
Proficiency with ADP and Google Workspace
Bachelor’s degree or HR certification is a plus, but not required with relevant experience
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role based in metro Atlanta or East Nashville, Tennessee, with time split between working from home and working on-site at our three Nashville restaurants.
Regular in-person presence in the restaurants is essential. The person in this role should enjoy being in restaurants, building relationships face-to-face, and staying close to the teams they support.
The Human Resources Manager will play a vital role in helping our restaurants run. This role is ideal for an experienced HR Generalist looking for the next step, or HR Manager looking for the right company to join.
Compensation
this position is: salaried, $50,000 - $75,000
