St. George Pizza makes Sicilian-style pizza in historic "downtown" Warren, Maine. Our town isn't exactly a bustling metropolis — there's a gas station, a post office, and now us — and we think that's kind of the point. We opened a couple of years ago with a commitment to making really good, from-scratch pizza in a place that needed it. We source locally and seasonally, working with people like our neighbors up the road at Spear Spring Farm, and put genuine care into every pie. We take the food seriously and try not to take ourselves too seriously.
Job description
St. George Pizza is looking for a cook to join our crew. The work is primarily pizza-focused: prepping dough, saucing and building pies, working the line. This is not a high-volume corporate kitchen. It's a tight-knit, genuinely funny team making really good pizza, and we want someone who fits that.
Our overall goal is to build something special in our small town. Warren needed a spot where people could gather, eat well, and feel like regulars — and that's what we're trying to be. If that sounds like a place you'd want to work, we'd love to hear from you.
We're looking for someone with kitchen experience (pizza experience a plus but not required), a good attitude, and someone who communicates well and thrives working collaboratively on a small team.
This is a year-round position — not a summer gig. Compensation starts at $20 (will go higher depending on experience) and splits tips which adds roughly $3-5 per hour.
