Job description

Location: in-person at our HQ in Red Hook, Brooklyn

Schedule: Full-time, Monday- Friday, 11am-7pm

At Pearl Street Caviar, the Operations Coordinator is a cross-team role, supporting primarily our caviar specialist team, but also our restaurant team throughout the week. This role’s primary responsibilities are as listed below. We highly value adaptability, as we are a small company, and often urgent tasks arise that need to be prioritized. This is a great role for someone who enjoys pivoting amongst a variety of tasks, and there is a lot of room for growth as you become more knowledgeable about the company, caviar, and our offerings, as we would like this role to transition into a management position within the next year.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Taking and entering orders from email, phone calls, text messages, and in-person retail.
Supply/Inventory management
Invoice management
Deliveries/Errands
Bartending/Serving
Support for caviar and shipment packing

QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent customer service skills
Strong communication and organizational skills
High attention to detail
Ability to multitask
Problem solving skills
IT skills (printers, wifi, restaurant hardware & software, general computer issues)
English, native or fluent
Comfortable sitting & standing for long periods of time

PLUSES

Bartending, serving experience
Driver’s license, comfortable driving in the city
Spanish
Safe Food Handling Certification
Interest in caviar!

Compensation

this position is: salaried, $64,350 - $75,000
