Via Ravioli is a fresh pasta shop located in Coxsackie in New York's Hudson Valley. We make ravioli 5 days a week that we sell at our shop, farmers markets and to wholesale customers throughout the Hudson Valley. Steve was previously the pasta maker (and co-founder) at Sfoglini Pasta.

Our shop is inspired by old-school Italian import stores. We make fresh mozzarella and sell Italian pantry goods, fresh semolina bread and a lot of antipasti. We have lunch sandwiches on sesame semolina bread and Italian pastries once a month.

We love making good food that features the produce of the Hudson Valley and most of our seasonal ravioli are made with vegetables from MX Morningstar Farm and Samascott Orchards.

Job description

Via Ravioli is hiring a part-time Farmers Market Associate! We sell at 4 weekly markets in the Hudson Valley on the weekends. We are looking for someone to work at our Troy market every Saturday and fill in as a substitute for some Sunday markets in Rhinebeck. Our outdoor market season runs May through October.

We're looking for someone who is dependable and enthusiastic and enjoys working outdoors at the market. If you're hardworking, want a part-time weekend gig and are passionate about local food, apply to join the team!

Part-Time Weekend Market Associate

Pay: $23–$25 per hour
Schedule: 1–2 days per week - every Saturday and some Sundays
Expected Hours: 8-16
Type: Part-time, Seasonal

Albert runs operations for our markets. You can meet him in Coxsackie and catch a ride to market, or meet us at the market in Troy. You'll set up the tent, table and ravioli display and sell at the market from 9am to 2pm. The Troy market sees thousands of people every weekend in downtown Troy. We're located next to the cheese & milk vendors and it's a fun communal vibe.

Requirements:

Available to work Saturdays
Enjoys chatting with customers
Likes to talk about food!
Lift and move tents and coolers (40lb maximum)

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $20/hr +
