Little Kitchen Academy Westfield Century City is looking for inspiring Instructors who love working with children and have a passion for a healthy lifestyle.

Little Kitchen Academy is the first-of-its-kind Montessori inspired cooking academy for kids ages three through teen. We are focused on providing a safe, inspiring, and empowering space for children to identify, develop, and refine their senses. Through joy, mindfulness, and learning we are creating a foundation for a healthy lifestyle through responsible eating choices from scratch to consumption.

Job description

Our instructors:

• Execute on our core values every day, every class, every student (Health, Delight, Joy, Mindfulness, Learning, Empowerment, Inspiration).
• Must be kind, caring, and patient.
• Must have a passion for living a healthy lifestyle.
• Lead, Support, and Environment Instructor positions available.
• Cover shifts if unexpected absences in staffing occur.
• Experience teaching is preferred.

This is a part time position (8 -20 hours per week) with a variable schedule and will require weekend, evening and weekend evening availability. The ideal candidate will have flexibility within their availability and will be willing to pick up shifts when required.

Will be required prior to starting:

Food Safety Certification Required
First-Aid/CPR/AED Certified including with children required
Background check required to work with children
Thorough training will be provided upon hiring.

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $16.50 - 20/hr
