Job description

At The Cheese Shop, we are focused on developing our people to continue to grow professionally, learn specific areas of interest, and expand their broader skill set. We welcome creative thinking, collaboration, and a can-do attitude. Working as a Cheesemonger, you will be working with our amazing staff to help our customers identify the best cheese and charcuterie for their needs, participate in curating our full selection, and work in concert with the other departments of the store.

You will fit in here if you:

· Love food, cheese, and all things gastronomy

· Comfortable using knives

· Desire to learn the details behind cheese and specialty food

· Available on weekends

· Can multi-task

Shift Information:

Our store hours are 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM Tuesday through Saturday and 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Sunday. A typical shift is a full day at the store.

We are looking for someone who can work 30-40 hours a week.

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $20/hr +
