We source and work with local roasters, growers, crafters, and makers in the greater Hudson Valley Region.
Job description
LMNOP Bakery is looking for an energetic, passionate, and responsible baker with experience, knowledge and skills in pastry and lamination. Knowledge and skills in croissant production and natural sourdough fermentation a plus. An LMNOP Baker is responsible for assisting in daily production operations of the bakery, working efficiently and effectively with a small but mighty BOH team to ensure products are made to the highest standards. 1-2 years of experience preferred, but willing to train a strong candidate.
Essential skills:
-Ability to lift 50 lbs
-Ability to spend long days on feet
-Great organizational and time management skills
-Strong independent worker as well as with a team
-Excellent communication with bake team/FOH/management
-Adaptable to varying needs of production
-Good work ethic
-Ability to maintain quality control, with great attention to detail
-Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
-Compliant with health and safety standards
-Awareness of time sensitive projects, and delivering for service on time
-Food handlers license required
-Weekend/Holiday availability required
Daily tasks:
-Scaling, mixing, shaping, doughs and batters
-Baking breads and pastries to LMNOP standards
-Comply with health and safety standards
-Manage and maintain inventory
-Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Compensation
this position is: hourly, $20/hr +
