Job description
This role will support daily ice cream production by executing prep, batching, and packing tasks while maintaining an organized, clean, and efficient kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
● Execute the weekly production plan as directed by the Lead Production Chef
● Work alongside the Lead Production Chef to complete daily production tasks, including preparing bases, inclusions, and sauces
● Operate ice cream machines (churning, spinning, and inclusion mixing) with training and supervision
● Assist with packing pints, sandwiches, and pops
● Prepare fruit and other mix-ins (knife work, cooking, candying, etc.)
● Transfer and organize product between blast freezer and walk-in
● Prep FOH toppings and sundae components as needed
● Clean, break down, and reassemble equipment; maintain overall BOH cleanliness
● Follow FIFO practices and maintain organized storage of ingredients and finished products
Physical & Schedule Requirements
● Ability to stand for eight hours at a time and lift up to 50 lbs on a repetitive and consistent basis.
● Availability Monday–Thursday, with Tuesday and Wednesday as priority days
Experience & Qualifications
● 1+ year of kitchen or food production experience preferred
● Strong attention to detail and consistency
● Able to follow direction and execute tasks reliably in a fast-paced environment
● Positive attitude and willingness to learn; training provided
Compensation
this position is: hourly, $20/hr +
