What You’ll Do
Lead Daily Market Operations
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the market and coffee bar
- Manage a small team of baristas and seasonal staff
- Maintain a space that feels full, fresh, organized, and easy to shop
Own Product & Purchasing
- Source and purchase products including coffee, baked goods, breads, packaged foods, beverages, and operating supplies
- Work directly with local farms and food vendors
- Receive deliveries, check in orders, and manage credits for any issues
Merchandising & Inventory
- Build and maintain produce and retail displays with a strong visual point of view
- Price and merchandise incoming products
- Manage inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation
- Keep the market well-stocked without overbuying
Customer Experience
- Provide warm, knowledgeable service to customers
- Assist with purchases across the shop, including occasional nursery sales and gift wrapping
- Support a collaborative, team-oriented environment
General Responsibilities
- Stock shelves and displays
- Lift and move product (up to 30 lbs)
- Step in wherever needed to keep the market running smoothly
Compensation
this position is: salaried, $75,000 - $100,000
