Sous Chef (Male) — Amarilis Healthy Chef
Position Overview
Amarilis Healthy Chef is seeking a disciplined and detail-oriented Sous Chef to support daily kitchen operations, meal production, and quality control.
This role requires someone who can execute consistently, follow structured processes, and maintain high standards in a fast-paced, chef-led environment focused on fresh, intentional cooking.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations
Prepare ingredients according to defined standards (washing, cutting, portioning)
Execute meal production for weekly meal packages
Maintain consistency in flavor, presentation, and portioning
Ensure all meals are prepared fresh and on time for delivery
Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times
Organize and maintain cleanliness of kitchen, prep areas, and storage
Label, store, and manage ingredients properly
Support packaging and final quality checks before dispatch
Assist in inventory tracking and restocking needs
Requirements
Previous experience in a professional kitchen preferred
Strong discipline and ability to follow instructions precisely
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations
Ability to work efficiently under time pressure
Attention to detail and consistency in execution
Clean, organized, and respectful work ethic
Reliable and punctual
