Job description
This is a unique opportunity to join our growing team for the much anticipated reopening of The Rooting Pig, a popular on-farm restaurant on the coast of mid-coast Maine. Our newly renovated indoor bar needs an experienced, affable and self-motivated lead bartender. The position is full time, five days a week (Wed-Sun) with no early mornings or late evenings. Peak season is June-October, but we will be open all year, so we welcome applicants interested in both seasonal and year round employment.
Responsibilities and Duties
Duties include but are not limited to:
- setting up, restocking, and breaking down indoor bar and overseeing the operation of the outdoor bar
- collaborating with owners for drinks selection and stock ordering
- taking and serving guest orders
- making cocktails
- keeping a tidy bar and tables
Compensation
In addition to hourly salary, bar team members receive a share of pooled tips. We also offer discounts on most market products.
