Position: Harvest Coordinator
Number of Positions: 1
Pay: $32-$34 per hour

Job Summary:

As the Harvest Coordinator, you'll lead our harvest and order fulfillment operations, ensuring efficiency and quality while also contributing to the broader farm activities. Your strong organizational skills and passion for local agriculture will be key to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
Order and Harvest Management:
- Coordinate produce order fulfillment, from processing customer orders to ensuring timely and quality delivery.
- Lead and participate in harvest, wash, and pack processes, maintaining efficiency and adherence to food safety standards.
- Manage inventories, update online storefront, and maintain accurate harvest records.
- Provide administrative support with shipping and inspections.
Quality and Safety Assurance:
- Maintain a clean and organized wash/pack area, ensuring compliance with relevant safety and hygiene standards.
- Uphold and document quality control for all produce items, implementing any necessary updates to procedures.
- Ensure produce is harvested and handled with an aesthetic eye for fine-dining standards.
General Farm Support:
- Support the Farm Manager in maintaining the farm through tasks such as bed preparation, planting, training, weeding, equipment maintenance, irrigation, pest control, general clean-up and greenhouse operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with guests, management, and staff.
- Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency preferred (conversational).
2+ years of proven experience in vegetable production, including harvest and post-harvest handling.
- Demonstrated interest in regenerative agriculture.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing conditions.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to maintain high-quality standards and adhere to food safety protocols while working efficiently.
Physical Requirements and Abilities:
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Ability to work on varied outdoor terrain
- Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and use hand tools/equipment safely.
- Ability to work outdoors in diverse and extreme weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds with or without assistance.
- Ability to adhere to a regular work schedule of Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
- Authorized to work legally in the US.
- Due to the sensitive nature of working on a private family estate and the proximity to the family's personal residence, the successful candidate will be required to pass an in-depth background investigation. This is a standard safety and security protocol for all estate staff to ensure the privacy and protection of the family and property.

The anticipated range for this position does not include benefits offered as part of the compensation package.
Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The salary will ultimately be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic location. The company in good faith believes that the posted compensation range is accurate for this role at this location at the time of this posting. The ranges may be modified in the future.
