Rude Mouth, a low-intervention, natural wine bar, is looking for an Assistant General Manager to join our team. Rude Mouth’s mission is to create a joyful, unpretentious atmosphere that welcomes wine connoisseurs and curious drinkers alike.

We’re seeking an AGM with extensive knowledge of low-intervention wines and management experience. The AGM will play a pivotal role in day-to-day operations, including both service and administrative work. Our team culture is one of all hands on deck, and the right fit for the role will reflect that belief, embodying a “no task too small” mentality.

Some of the role responsibilities are as follows:

• Hires, trains, supervises, manages, coaches, counsels, and evaluates hourly FOH employees
• Prepares staff schedules
• Oversees payroll processing weekly; provides final review and approval to all payroll registers for Rude Mouth
• Oversees ordering, GL management, and/or inventory for certain supply categories
• Able to perform all POS functions, including opening and closing procedures, comps, voids, transfers, and back-end administration (employee creation, menu management)
• Supports and manages floor service; communicates all vital information
• Acts as a role model for outstanding service; continuously works to elevate service standards; personally embodies hospitality in daily actions
• Ensures that all team members are educated on Rude Mouth's products and services
• Ensures the profitability of the bar by growing sales and controlling the cost of goods
