Vermont Organic Farmers LLC (VOF) is the USDA accredited organic certification program owned by NOFA-VT. Since 1985, VOF has been a leader in the organic movement working hand in hand with producers to develop a meaningful definition of organic and to provide outstanding certification services. Our farmers and processors are dedicated to practices that use a holistic approach to soil fertility, pest control, plant, animal, and human health. We work to ensure integrity and transparency throughout the certification process to guarantee that the end product meets the high standards of organic production.

Job description
The inspector is responsible for al tasks involved with the certification inspection site visit. An on-site inspection will be assigned by VOF and must be held when an authorized representative of the operation who is knowledgeable about the operation is present and when the land, facilities, and activities that demonstrate compliance or capacity to comply can be observed, except in the case of the assignment of an unannounced inspection.
Compensation
this position is: hourly, $20/hr +
