Company description

At Lakehurst Farm we grow over 70 varieties of annuals, perennials, native wildflowers, and “woodies”. Our emphasis is on exceptional, unique, and heirloom varieties with sturdy stems and long vase life. We pride ourselves on eco-friendly practices for our soil, the flowers, and our local environment. We grow and sell, from a half-acre of cultivated land, to local florists, our own CSA, a farmer's market and the Maine Collective wholesale market. We are small, nimble, energetic and creative.

Job description

Our Farm Director needs assistance with all aspects of growing, harvesting and selling our flowers. The daily jobs change daily. The following jobs are the primary tasks we need help with: planting, seeding, tending, weeding, watering, harvesting, and assembling. There are all sorts of additional tasks associated with these primary tasks, so flexibility is required.

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $15-20/hr
