Chef Einat Admony is the chef-owner of Balaboosta and Moondog Hifi and founder of the Taim falafel franchise. A three-time James Beard Award nominee, cookbook author, television personality, and creator of Nine Chefs One Table, Einat operates at the intersection of food, media, and culture. Her world moves fast and spans industries.

We’re looking for an Executive Assistant & Project Manager to serve as a true right hand to Einat. This role will act as the central coordinator across her culinary, brand, media, and PR efforts. This is not a traditional EA role. You will help run video shoots, support recipe development, write food copy, execute large-scale events, and keep a multi-concept hospitality business moving with precision.

This is an entry-level role with extraordinary exposure. You will work shoulder-to-shoulder with a founder-chef at the convergence of hospitality, food media, and brand-building.

This role is primarily in-person in New York City, with the option to work remotely on days when Einat is traveling.

What You’ll Do

Executive Operations & Calendar Management

• Own Einat’s calendar: scheduling and coordinating meetings, tastings, press appearances, shoots, and personal commitments

• Manage travel logistics: flights, accommodations, itineraries, and on-the-ground coordination for work events and occasionally personal travel

• Track action items across internal teams and external partners

• Assist with personal logistics and household tasks

• Act as a coordinator for all communications

Social Media & Video Production

• Handle production of video content for Instagram and TikTok (100K+ combined followers), from concept through post-production, at times collaborating with an external social media team

• Coordinate shoot logistics: sourcing and organizing groceries, managing kitchen prep and cleanup, collaborating on shot lists, and food styling

• Serve as the liaison with video editors and external content collaborators, keeping timelines and deliverables on track

• Assist with content strategy, caption writing, and scheduling to keep social channels active and on-brand

Culinary & Recipe Support

• Assist with menu planning, recipe testing, culinary prep, and kitchen organization for shoots, events, and editorial projects

• Write and edit food copy including recipe headnotes, recipe introductions, and newsletter content

• Manage recipe documentation, formatting, and filing

Events & Restaurant Operations

• Coordinate events, including pop-up dinners, receptions with tasting stations, talks, and cooking classes.

• Support all logistics and execution for Nine Chefs One Table, including chef communications, vendor coordination, and day-of operations

• Coordinate restaurant events, pop-ups, and special programming across Balaboosta and Moondog HiFi

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in hospitality, food media, marketing, or supporting a senior executive

• Restaurant or kitchen experience

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a warm, professional, and adaptable presence

• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail; you create structure and calm where there is neither

• Strong proficiency with Google Workspace and scheduling tools; comfort with social media platforms

• Ability to lift 30 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods during events and shoots

• Available to work primarily in-person in New York City, with flexibility for events, travel, and occasional remote days when Einat is away

• A genuine passion for food, hospitality, and the culinary world

Compensation

this position is: salaried, $64,350 - $75,000
