Job description
The Role
We’re looking for a dependable, early-rising baker to join our team. This is a morning, part-time position based out of our commissary kitchen in Amagansett. This role focuses on executing a small, consistent pastry program for our retail store. You will be responsible for baking and packaging a select menu of items daily.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Baking a daily menu of pies, hand pies, and cookies
- Packaging finished products for sale
- Managing oven performance (monitoring temperature, rotating trays, ensuring even bakes)
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Following recipes and production standards with consistency
What We’re Looking For
- Food Handler's Certificate preferred (not required); must be willing to complete certification within 45 days of hire. We will pay for course time and associated fees
- Early morning availability and reliability (7AM start)
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Basic baking experience preferred (home bakers welcome)
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- A calm, patient approach to baking

Compensation
this position is: hourly, varies DOE, $17.00 - $22.00
