Benedikt Dairy produces delicious thoughtful foods from the beautiful working landscape of Shirley Hill, owned by the Shirley family for the past 300 years. We employ a small, talented and dedicated team. We sell our products through our CSA program and at our farm stand. We produce 100% grass-fed dairy products (yogurts, cultured butter, buttermilk and ice cream), beef, and seasonal organically managed vegetables.

Job description

Prior customer service experience is necessary. We’re looking for a creative professional, positive person who has been here or shops here regularly, knows our products and quality standards, is into clean food, cooking seasonally, natural living, and has an eye for natural beauty. Must be able to lift heavy things (50lbs) easily and work in sometimes adverse weather conditions. Tasks include: restocking, receiving and sorting away deliveries, inventory, cleaning, processing dried flowers, washing and bagging vegetables, answering customer and member questions in person, via email, and calls, reconciling accounts, and process transactions through our Square point of sale system. Must enjoy working alone or in a small team, have a strong sense of routine, and have good group mentality.

No housing provided.

$16-18/hour depending on experience.

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $15-20/hr
