Company description
Long Season Farm is a certified organic vegetable farm in Kerhonkson, NY, known for top quality produce and a vibrant farmers market presence in the Hudson Valley. We've been farming since 2014, focusing on four-season production — warm season crops through spring and fall, and cold-hardy tunnel greens and stored roots through the winter. We embrace the seasons rather than fight them, growing only what's truly excellent for the time of year.
Our crew is small, skilled, and tight-knit. Most people who come to work here stay for multiple seasons. We operate with transparency, clear goals, good communication, and genuine investment in the people who work with us.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Long Season Farm grows the nicest vegetables around, and we're looking for an experienced farm worker to help us do it.
This is a full-time, full-season position running from May through mid-December, with the opportunity to continue into the winter for the right person. Our crew of six works hard, takes pride in their work, and genuinely cares about the quality of what we grow and sell.

What we're looking for: We prefer candidates with at least one full season of farm experience. You should be comfortable working efficiently outdoors in all weather, paying close attention to quality and detail, and operating as a reliable member of a small team. A real love of vegetables and the work of growing them matters to us.
Independent transportation to and from our farm in Kerhonkson is required.
Hours and pay: Full time, 40 hours per week. Occasional optional overtime. First season pay is $18–$19/hour DOE.
Benefits: Weekly staff vegetable order, $400 gear stipend, and 20 hours PTO after your trial period.
