* Partner with veterinarians and nutritionists to optimize herd health and milk production
* Ensure strong calf care and successful transition into the milking herd
* Maintain accurate records and use data to drive decisions
Farm Operations & Business Performance
* Oversee daily farm operations across barns, milking systems, and facilities
* Drive efficiency in feed utilization, labor, and herd productivity

* Build a strong, safety-focused, team-oriented culture
* Oversee scheduling and staffing for a 365-day operation

* Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and livestock regulations
* Maintain audit readiness and enforce safety protocols
* Identify risks and proactively address them

* Healthy herd with effective reproduction performance
* Efficient, well-run daily operations
* A team that is engaged, accountable, and performing
What You Bring
* 5+ years of hands-on dairy herd management or farm leadership experience
* Strong knowledge of herd health, reproduction, nutrition, and milk production
* Experience leading teams in a farm or production environment
* Ability to operate farm equipment (tractors, skid steers, etc.)
* Experience with herd management systems (DairyComp, PCDart, or similar)
* Strong decision-making, organization, and leadership skills
