Company description
ilse coffee is a specialty coffee roaster, founded with the goal of showcasing some of the world’s best coffees. We approach coffee in an ingredient-driven way, one that reflects the people, places, and stories behind every cup.
At the heart of ilse is a commitment to building long-term, transparent relationships with smallholder producers around the world. We prioritize direct partnerships, pay meaningful premiums, and share detailed pricing and sourcing information to help create a more equitable and sustainable coffee industry.
Our coffees are sourced thoughtfully and seasonally, with a focus on single-producer lots that highlight the unique character of each origin.
Beyond the product itself, we see coffee as a connector, between farmers and consumers, and within our own community. Through our roastery and cafes, we aim to create a welcoming, inclusive space where people can engage more deeply with coffee, food and one another.
ilse is driven by the belief that quality, transparency, and human connection are connected and that a better cup of coffee can contribute to a more thoughtful and sustainable food system.
