Company description

We are a small general store in BedStuy, Brooklyn. We offer prepared foods, coffee, pantry and provision staples and retail items like candles, gifts and apothecary. We have a strong focus on local and independently made goods! The entire store is only 300 sq ft and the kitchen is a sliver of that. We have a very basic set up: (oven, croc pot, induction burner, panini press, warmer) but make a wide variety of food. Simple but inspired take away foods and beverages is the focus.

Job description

I'm looking for a creative, collaborative person who wants to keep the current menu consistent but also help us evolve. We have a to-go food program with a strong breakfast crowd but are looking to grow in our lunch and dinner business, with the help of you! Thoughtful, seasonal foods with a vegetarian lean that make you feel good when you eat them. There's lots of potential for growth, experimentation and flexibility.

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $20/hr +
