location: our home in Rowayton, CT
start: as soon as possible for a summer trial through August ʻ26, with the possibility to extend
hours: 5 days/week, roughly 30 hours total
pay: $30/hour (we pay for groceries)
must have access to your own car
You are: Someone who loves sourcing and stocking superb organic produce; familiar with both traditional & vegan/gluten-free techniques; happy preparing an abundance of fresh juices, smoothies, and raw dishes; able to be vigilant about clean ingredients; knows how to keep a clean workspace and kitchen; knows that simple, clean food can be thy medicine! The role: You will be responsible for preparing three meals plus some snacks five days a week, as well as grocery shopping, organizing and stocking the fridge, and keeping the kitchen space neat and clean. Opportunity to partially tend and use produce from our garden. You will work primarily in our spacious chef’s kitchen in our family room.
The vibe: We’re not looking for a luxury private chef, we’re looking for an eager, flexible, perhaps early career chef who is enthusiastic about wellness-focused cooking and excited to tailor their approach to our dietary needs and help us feel our best.
Compensation
this position is: hourly, $20/hr +
