We believe in the power of good food and in sharing it with others. Our retail focus is on locally-sourced and well-made goods—items that celebrate our community of NYC producers and upstate NY farmers: Fine & Raw chocolates, White Moustache yogurts, East Hollow ciders, and Queen Majesty hot sauces to name a few. Our cheese case features dozens of carefully-curated cheeses, and our beer and cider selection is just as large, with a unique complement of primarily local brews.
And the Campbell & Co. kitchen and catering program utilizes the best ingredients from the season to create sandwiches, salads, breakfast biscuits, cheese boards, desserts, and more. Over the years we’ve worked hard to earn a devoted following and are known as much for our warm and friendly customer service as our products (our breakfast biscuits are legendary!).

Campbell & Co, a beloved neighborhood grocery and café with locations in Williamsburg and Greenpoint, Brooklyn, is looking for a full- time, friendly Floor Lead to join our team! We’re a small but mighty operation that prides itself on excellent service, great coffee and sandwiches, and a warm community vibe. If you're a natural leader with a knack for multitasking, problem-solving, and creating a welcoming environment for both customers and staff — we want to hear from you!
As a Floor Lead, you’ll collaborate closely with the owners and play a key role in the day-to-day operations. You’ll be responsible for overseeing daily task completion, maintaining a smooth workflow, supporting the team, and delivering an exceptional experience to every customer who walks through our door. We pride ourselves on having a thoughtful, respectful workplace and do our best to maintain a supportive, low-stress environment. Qualifications:
-1+ year of experience as a key holder, shift supervisor, or similar in a fast-paced cafe or retail store.
-Reliable and self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to hustle.
-A passion for giving great customer service.
-Confident overseeing a busy floor and keeping things moving.
-A proactive, solution-oriented attitude — you don’t wait for someone else to fix it.
-Ability to multitask, delegate, and support your team effectively under pressure.
-A team player with a willingness to jump in and help with all tasks. You lead by example!
-Very comfortable with point-of-sale systems and online delivery platforms.
-Full Time (5 shifts). Weekend and Holiday availability is a must.
-Barista experience preferred (though we’re willing to train an otherwise qualified candidate).
Key Responsibilities:
-Provide excellent and courteous customer service and resolve issues proactively.
-Guide the team to complete tasks and complete all daily checklists.
-Help train new team members and uphold quality standards.
-Support the owners in managing daily workflows and staff on the floor.
-Prepare high-quality coffee and other beverages.
-Maintain clean and fully stocked displays and stations.
Compensation:
Hourly wage, commensurate with experience, plus tips.
