Now Hiring: Farm Store Clerk
Location: Farm Co Market at Cozy Point Ranch (Aspen, CO)
Position Type: Part-Time, Year-Round (Includes at least one weekend day)
Reports To: Farm Co Market Manager
The Mission
The Farm Collaborative is a nonprofit dedicated to regenerative agriculture. Our Farm Co Market at Cozy Point Ranch is a community hub designed to connect our neighbors with seasonal products sourced within 100 miles. We are building a resilient local food system where the health of the planet and the people comes first.
The Role
As a Store Clerk, you are the primary point of connection for our community. Your goal is to provide a welcoming atmosphere, maintain a beautiful market space, and ensure the smooth daily operation of our mission-driven store.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service: Joyfully greet visitors and assist them with their purchases in a friendly, helpful manner.
Financial Accuracy: Perform daily point-of-sale (POS) transactions, including cash handling, drawer balancing, and processing SNAP/Double Up Food Bucks (DUFB) benefits.
Store Upkeep: Keep the market beautifully merchandised, stocked, and clean to reflect our high standards and seasonal inventory.
Farm Support: Answer the main farm phone and assist with light administrative tasks or community events as needed.
Qualifications
Technical Skills: Proficiency with POS systems (e.g., Square, Shopify) and basic software like Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
Cash Handling: Proven experience managing a cash drawer and processing various payment types with high accuracy.
Reliable & Detail-Oriented: Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment while maintaining a warm, solution-focused demeanor.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, navigate our root cellar (bending/stooping), and safely lift up to 40 lbs.
