Job description
Role Summary
As Beverage Manager, you will be a working leader responsible for the day-to-day operations of the bar and lounge, the creation of cocktail, wine, and beer programs, and the cultivation of a creative, hospitable bar team. You will contribute directly to the guest experience, from curating seasonal specialty menus to collaborating with the Events and Food & Beverage teams on special events and banquets. Every interaction should reflect the highest standards of hospitality and craft.
The Specifics
Team Leadership & Scheduling
- Lead, hire, and train the bar team in accordance with hotel standards for hospitality, service, and guest satisfaction.
- Schedule bar shifts and organize coverage as needed to maintain consistent, high-quality service.
- Drive team development through ongoing training, tastings, pre-shift meetings, and individual coaching sessions.
Daily Operations
- Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring seamless and elevated service to all guests.
- Participate actively in service and floor management as a working leader — including hosting, bartending, and direct guest engagement.
- Proactively handle guest concerns with professionalism, patience, and a spirit of genuine hospitality.
Assist guests in an informative and helpful way regarding hotel facilities and offerings.
- Adapt to individual guest needs and find creative ways to make their stay more enjoyable.
Program & Menu Development
- Curate cocktail, beer, and wine lists that complement the food menu while maintaining cost controls and strong vendor relationships.
- Develop seasonal specialty menus that reflect the property’s creative identity.
- Collaborate with the Events and F&B teams on special event and banquet beverage menus.
Inventory & Administration
- Manage bar inventory, order supplies, and monitor liquor costs.
- Oversee bar promotions and special events.
- Adhere to all health and safety standards, including the ability to lift objects over 45 lbs.
- Assist other departments as necessary, and complete additional duties as assigned.

Compensation
this position is: salaried, varies DOE, $70,000.00 - $80,000.00
