Company description
Goranson Farm is a diversified organic vegetable farm in Dresden Maine. Family owned and operated since 1960, it has served the local community for the past 65 years. We specialize in the year-round cultivation and storage of delicious, nutrient-dense organic vegetables. We are known for the quality of the produce we bring to market, environmental stewardship, and love for farming and community. We prioritize physical sustainability of the work through mechanization, thoughtful infrastructure design, and systems that consider the human body. Our exceptional team is composed of ~10 full-time farmers from December through March. This crew expands to over 20 individuals May through November. Summers we sell at 5 farmers’ markets, our farm stand, and supply over 15 regular wholesale accounts. Winters we clean and pack produce and manage over ½ acre of winter greens in our high tunnels. This produce is sold through three farmers’ markets, our monthly Winter CSA, and wholesale accounts.
