Job description

Standard Staff Member

- Shift: Saturday, 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM (6 hours).

- Responsibilities: Assisting with sales, closing the stand, and packing the van. This shift requires high situational awareness, as our peak hours are 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM. Barrels will also need to be changed during this time.

- Compensation: $20/hr cash.

- Benefits: You often receive free products or discounts from other market vendors.

General Stand Schedule

We ensure the stand is always staffed by at least two people:

- 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Manager

- 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Shift 1

- 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM: Shift 2

- 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Shift 3 (the shift we are hiring for)

- 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Managers

- Breaks: Everyone receives a 30-minute lunch break ideally when there’s optimal coverage and all three staff members are overlapping

Assistant Manager Role

- Logistics: Driving the van from the farm at 4:00 AM Friday or bringing it down Thursday evening.

- Setup: Be one the plaza by 6:00 AM. By 8:00 AM, setup should be 85% complete, at 8:00 AM the opener can help finish with dry teas, signage, and samples etc... Once set up, you will post a photo to our Instagram story.

- Schedule: You are off from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (administrative time/rest). You return at 4:00 PM to assist with customers, restock, change barrels, and begin organizing the van for pack-up.

- Closing: At 5:00 PM, both staff members pack the van. At 6:00 PM, you move the van for parking. You are responsible for taking inventory, removing large bills from the till, and logging the daily profit for Chris.

- Compensation: $700 total for Friday and Saturday (includes driving, setup, and breakdown). Sunday opportunities are available for an additional $500

- Implementation: As Assistant Manager, you would cover these full responsibilities on weekends when I am unavailable.
