Location: 1100 Flushing Avenue, Brooklyn, NY
Compensation:
- $70K-$90K based on experience

Overview: The Overnight Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading warehouse operations during the overnight shift. This role ensures smooth execution of overnight pick & pack production, metricized by labor rate and error rate. We’re seeking a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about operational excellence. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and dedicated to improving systems while motivating their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead evening and overnight operations, ensuring seamless handoff from the day team and maintaining pace and efficiency throughout the shift.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks (short staff, holds, system errors) to maintain workflow continuity by initiating and participating in cross departmental communication via slack, email, and in person.
- Spot-check orders for accuracy and product quality; address issues immediately.
- Oversee product quality control, expiration date tracking, and adherence to food safety standards.
- Monitor team performance and compliance with warehouse protocols
- Uphold strict quality control and cleanliness standards across all areas of the warehouse.
- Support the Director of WH Ops in updating SOPs, training manuals, and operational checklists.
- Support timely employee documentation such as onboarding, attendance, and disciplinary records.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation policies.
- Lead, motivate, and train team members to achieve production and quality goals.
- Conduct interviews, onboarding, and performance reviews for warehouse staff.
- Develop and implement training programs to maintain consistency and accountability.
- Provide clear communication, coaching, and feedback to foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong knowledge of food quality standards, especially in fresh produce.
- 2+ years of experience managing warehouse, grocery, or fulfillment center operations.
- Proven ability to manage fast-paced production environments and improve efficiency.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control and error prevention.
- Effective leader capable of building morale and accountability among team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on operational improvement and proactive issue resolution.
Schedule:
- Saturday to Sunday: 7PM – 5AM
- Sunday to Monday: 7PM – 5AM
- Monday to Tuesday: 7PM – 5AM
- Tuesday to Wednesday: 7PM – 5AM
- Wednesday to Thursday: 7PM – 5AM

Compensation
this position is: salaried, $75,000 - $100,000
