Role Overview:
We need a creative, tech-savvy storyteller who will own the day-to-day social media presence for Instagram and YouTube. You will play a key role in launching the Series and growing, and inspiring, a broad global audience through emotionally resonant storytelling, strategic audience engagement, and a deep understanding of the social platform’s algorithms and performance. This is not a remote or freelance gig — this is a full-time, on-site position embedded with the farm and production team in Sisters, Oregon.
Key Responsibilities:
* Concept, shoot, edit, and publish multiple pieces of social-first content per week (Reels, Stories, Carousels, YouTube Shorts, photo essays).
* Manage the full social content calendar and posting schedule.
* Capture authentic, timely content across the production and daily life.
* Write warm, engaging captions in the optimism of the Biggest Little Farm voice.
* Analyze performance, trends, and algorithms to drive growth and engagement.
* Support community engagement and audience activation campaigns.
* Foster relationships and coordinate partnerships with aligned creators and organizations to expand reach.
* Organize and maintain social assets, footage, templates, and archives for ongoing content needs.
* Help with occasional newsletter, website, and e-commerce content.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years professional experience in social media content production or digital storytelling.
- Strong independent producer skills (concept → filming → editing → publishing).
- Passion for regenerative agriculture, wildlife, agroecology, biodiversity, and local food systems. If not already well-versed, must have an interest and enthusiasm to learn the BLF cultural language fast and dive deep into these subjects.
- Strong instincts for emotionally engaging storytelling and audience connection
- Deep working knowledge of Instagram best practices, analytics, and growth strategies (YouTube Channel Management experience is a plus).
- Experience managing social accounts for established brands, media companies, or recognizable public figures.
- Proficient with CapCut (Frame.io and Adobe Premiere a big plus).
- Comfortable working in Wordpress, Meta Business Suite,
- Google Workspace, Canva, Later, and Klaviyo (email marketing).
- Digital Marketing a plus!
Compensation
this position is: salaried, varies DOE, $75,000.00 - $110,000.00
