Company description
Milkweed Farm is a diversified vegetable farm located in Chilmark on Martha’s Vineyard. We grow high-quality vegetables, herbs, and fruit for farmers markets, CSA, local grocery stores, and restaurant accounts across the island. Our farming practices prioritize soil health, flavor, consistency, and thoughtful land stewardship.
This season, Milkweed Farm is working in close collaboration with Merry Farm, allowing our team to operate across two production properties with expanded growing space, infrastructure, and systems. Crew members gain experience in many aspects of small-scale agriculture, including field production, harvest, post-harvest handling, greenhouse propagation, CSA distribution, and farmers markets.
We’re a hardworking, collaborative team that values reliability, communication, efficiency, and a positive attitude. Farming with us means working physically outdoors in all types of weather while being part of a farm operation that is ambitious, team-oriented, and deeply connected to the Martha’s Vineyard food community.
Job description

Position Type: Full-Time Seasonal (June through October preferred)
Compensation: $20/hr +; Pay commensurate with experience
Milkweed Farm is hiring seasonal crew members for the 2026 growing season.
