We've been at this for a decade, served 25M+ cups, and built a small team that punches well above its weight. We're building fast — across DTC, Amazon, and natural retail (~370 stores nationally and counting) — and we have serious ambitions for what Rasa can become. We're very much just getting started.

Director of Retail at Rasa
Rasa is an adaptogen-based coffee alternative company and Public Benefit Corporation based in Boulder, CO. The Role
The Director of Retail owns everything retail at Rasa — across the natural channel (our primary focus), Faire, iHerb, and specialty/boutique. That means making the current footprint perform, building the internal systems that don't exist yet, and growing the channels over time.
Right now, much of the natural channel work is happening externally through a fractional sales team, but it needs increased internal visibility, documentation, project management, and integration with the team. This hire doesn't duplicate that work — they build the infrastructure around it, manage the external team, fill the gaps, and ensure Rasa is ready to act when retail opportunities arise.
We currently have a smaller footprint in retail than online, but we want retail to be a major growth driver in the coming years.
What You'll Own
Build and maintain Rasa's retail operational playbook — the repeatable system for how we win in retail
Own trade spend modeling, retail P&L, and velocity tracking by retailer and SKU
Maintain the master category-review calendar — missing a window means waiting a year
Own the operational and account management of Faire, iHerb, and specialty/boutique channels
Manage the external retail team (Fractional VP of Sales, Retail Strategy Advisors) — set priorities, document outcomes, ensure visibility
Run cross-functional coordination across supply chain, brand, marketing, and logistics
Own retailer launch execution — New Seasons, Natural Grocers, future retailers
Be in the room with buyers — know the margins, the story, and the competitive landscape
You're a Fit If You Have
2–5 years at a natural-channel CPG brand in retail ops, trade marketing, or sales
Lived through at least one major retailer launch
Working knowledge of planograms, trade spend, fill rates, UNFI, broker dynamics, velocity tracking
Strong project management and documentation instincts — can build systems while executing within them
Player-coach mindset: comfortable doing the work and building the infrastructure around it
Self-starter energy, high EQ, and alignment with Rasa's values
AI fluency (or genuine willingness to develop it)
Faire, iHerb, or specialty/boutique experience is a plus
Comp & Logistics
$95–120K base. Full-time. Hybrid; Boulder/Denver-area preferred. Benefits include 100% medical/dental/vision, retirement plan, 8 company holidays, one Friday off every month, and an open vacation policy (most people take 2–4 weeks/year). Travel ~15–20%, concentrated around launches and industry events.
