Job description
Looking for line cooks for a non-traditional Malaysian restaurant in Greenpoint. If you have some skills and are looking to learn a thing or two, or need an outlet for the flavors you grew up eating (doesn't have to be Asian), we're interested.
We're looking for:
1-3 years of culinary / food and beverage line position.
Good knife skills and attention to detail.
Passion for learning, passion for cooking.
Someone who leaves ego out of the workplace, is ready to support others and to be supported by their team.
A person who takes instruction and executes direction faithfully.
Clean and fastidious to a fault.
You will have to carry heavy things (30+ pounds)
Familiarity with Malaysian or southeast asian flavors a big plus.
Wok skills a big plus.
Full availability, 8-10 hour shifts.
