Job description
Georgia Organics is seeking an Executive Director to build and grow the organization and lead the senior team to carry out the strategy as mutually set with the board. The Executive Director will work with the staff to define priorities and use impact metrics to ensure key organizational goals are met including but not limited to:
· Growing the number of profitable organic and regenerative farmers in Georgia.
· Building an influential network of local food movement advocates who champion organic and regenerative farmers.
· Continuing to advance capital investment in organic and regenerative farmers.
· Maintaining a strong organization by stabilization of organizational health, diversification of resources and by ensuring long term support for farming communities.
Additionally, the Executive Director will look for innovative solutions and opportunities to grow the organization internally and externally by forging alliances and building partnerships that further the mission. The Executive Director is responsible for securing resources through fundraising and capital campaigns, budgeting and allocating resources appropriately to meet goals and to ensure the financial health of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role at a statewide or regional non-profit preferred.
· Demonstrated ability to oversee a multi-phase fundraising cycle, utilizing donor data and strategic touchpoints to engage supporters, retain historic partners, and expand institutional funding partnerships.
· Demonstrated ability to provide executive oversight for multi-tiered grant pipelines, guiding program and finance staff to uphold rigorous compliance standards, manage sub-awards, and implement corrective action policies when necessary.
· Commitment to results and a 'can-do" mindset with emphasis on accountability.
· Experience with Quickbooks financial software, Microsoft, Asana or a similar type of organizational program(s).
· Experience at change leadership and change management.
· Strong motivational and staff leadership abilities.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, that builds collaboration, alignment and buy-in.
· Ability to nurture personal and meaningful relationships with stakeholders and funders.
· Has integrity, an impeccable work ethic, and, when needed, a sense of humor.
· Demonstrated diversity, equity and inclusion leadership experience.
Compensation
this position is: salaried, varies DOE, $90,000.00 - $110,000.00
