We are a small, independent, family-owned Cambodian restaurant in Crown Heights Brooklyn. Our Chef, Chinchakriya Chaparro Un, has operated the pop-up Kreung Cambodia for the last 8 years, bringing Khmer food to every corner of NYC and representing this rich culinary tradition all over the world. Our first year as a brick and mortar restaurant has been met with great reception and accolades. We are proud of being independent, and represent our food unapologetically, as well as having high standards of sourcing, cooking technique and service.
Job description
Bong is seeking a highly experienced host / maître d' for our restaurant in Crown Heights Brooklyn. The ideal candidate should have experience with hosting, the Resy booking system, table management, and service at high standard in the fast-paced environment of NYC restaurants. Knowledge of Cambodian and South East Asian food is helpful. Our FOH is expected to know deeply about the food that they we serve and be able to express what makes our cuisine special. Our service is fast-paced and demanding.

Cambodian food lacks representation in NYC and Bong seeks to champion its rich culture and culinary tradition in the best way possible. Compensation
this position is: hourly, $20/hr +
