At Everyday Cafe, we believe in more than just great coffee—we're a cafe with a cause. Key Qualifications:
Demonstrate the ability to be positive, energetic, and friendly with customers and staff
Available to work flexible hours (may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays)
Engage with customers, including anticipating, discovering, and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication

Ability to read and memorize food and drink recipes
Ability to memorize and follow operating procedures

Completion of food service course and testing within 90 days of hire
Prior customer service experience required
Prior barista or food service experience required
Key Responsibilities:
Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Everyday Cafe
Maintains regular and punctual attendance
Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep the café operating at a high’ standard and to set a positive example for the community
Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues
Communicates information to manager so that the team can respond as necessary to operational needs
Delivers phenomenal customer service to all customers by having a positive attitude and delivering a great experience
Follows Everyday Cafe’s operational policies and procedures
Provides quality food and beverages consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards
Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products
Available to perform many different tasks within the café during each shift
Core Hours: The Café is currently open Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Your shift will be determined in conjunction with the Café Manager.
Physical Environment: Job will require walking, standing for 8-hour shifts, bending and may involve lifting up to 25 pounds.
