Company description
The Hudson Oven is a craft bakery and community café in Croton-on-Hudson, New York, dedicated to baking exceptional long-fermentation sourdough bread using freshly milled organic and regionally sourced grains.
Founded in 2016 as a cottage industry, we have grown organically into a beloved Westchester destination. Our naturally leavened breads form the heart of our menu, supporting a full lineup of breakfast and lunch offerings, savory baked goods, pastries, and seasonal specials. Every loaf reflects our commitment to traditional methods, quality ingredients, and flavor that can only come from time, care, and the right grains.
Today, The Hudson Oven operates as both a busy neighborhood café and a growing wholesale bakery. We proudly serve our local community daily while expanding our reach through wholesale partnerships, catering, and innovative distribution solutions like our OOPAL smart locker system.
At The Hudson Oven, we believe bread brings people together. Whether you’re joining us for a morning coffee and scone, grabbing lunch made with our signature sourdough, or enjoying our bread at home, we aim to deliver warmth, quality, and connection in every bite.
