Cornell Cooperative Extension of Niagara County offers a broad area of nonformal education in natural resources, energy and environment, youth development, horticulture, agriculture and food systems, and nutrition and health. CCE of Niagara County also operates a robust and successful county fair on its extensive grounds.
Job description
This position manages a budget of $3M+ and a team of 18 staff, and numerous volunteers. The Executive Director also works closely with the Western NY Shared Business Network, four (4) regional agriculture teams, and partners at Cornell University/Cornell Cooperative Extension Administration.
This position offers a salary of $105,000 - $125,000/year, commensurate with experience. CCE offers a comprehensive benefits package upon employment and based on eligibility, to include but not limited to: New York State Health Insurance Program (NYSHIP), dental insurance, and New York State Employees' Retirement System (NYSERS).
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree and minimum of 5 years' experience in management
- Business acumen - specifically finance
- Financial development - grants, donors, program revenue
- Experience with managing a multi-faceted organization, and changing priorities and environment
- Approachable/accessible leader for stakeholders - staff, volunteers, community, program participants
- High-level support of programs and people
Preferred Qualifications
- Facilities management experience
