Job Description for Production & Packaging Associate

We’re looking for a hands-on, dependable Production & Packaging Associate to join our manufacturing team in Burlington.

This is an active role for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in precision, and likes being part of a small team where every person’s contribution matters. Each day you’ll help transform extraordinary spices into beautifully packaged products enjoyed by home cooks, chefs, and retailers across the country.
While the work is physical and detail-oriented, it’s also rewarding. You’ll spend your days surrounded by incredible aromas, learning about spices from around the world, and helping create products that support farming communities globally.

What You’ll Do

• Blend, weigh, and package premium spices and spice blends into jars, tins, and bags
• Assemble gift sets and specialty collections
• Label, lot code, heat seal, and prepare finished products for shipment
• Perform quality checks to ensure every product meets Curio’s high standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, food-safe production environment
• Work closely with teammates to improve efficiency and maintain smooth daily operations
• Help prepare wholesale, retail, and e-commerce orders with care and accuracy

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable standing and moving throughout an eight-hour shift
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications (helpful but not required):

• Experience in food production, coffee roasting, tea, specialty food, manufacturing, packaging, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) or other detail-oriented production is welcomed
• Familiarity with food safety or GMP environments
• Basic computer skills (Google Workspace)
• Spanish language skills are a plus, as you’ll work closely with teammates who primarily speak Spanish
• We are happy to train someone with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
