About Us
We are a private family ranch in Sonoma County with a variety of animals and a strong appreciation for maintaining a beautiful property. We are looking for a dependable, hands-on individual who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in a job well done, and appreciates the variety that comes with life on a ranch.
No two days are exactly the same. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, resourceful, and enjoys caring for animals, equipment, and the land.
Responsibilities
Daily care and feeding of ranch animals
Property and grounds maintenance
Fence repairs and general handyman projects
Irrigation system monitoring and repairs
Equipment operation and maintenance
Coordinating vendors and contractors as needed
Maintaining barns, pastures, and common areas
Identifying and proactively addressing maintenance needs
Assisting with occasional family events and special projects
Helping ensure the property remains safe, functional, and beautiful
Ideal Candidate
- Enjoys working outdoors in all seasons
- Loves animals and takes pride in their care
- Self-starter with minimal supervision required
- Handy and mechanically inclined
- Reliable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented
- Driver's license required to fulfill job duties
- Comfortable with a variety of physical tasks
- Able to lift 50+ pounds
- Strong communication skills and the ability to speak and understand English are required to effectively communicate with family members, vendors, and service providers.
- Experience with ranches, farms, livestock, equipment, or property maintenance preferred
Compensation
Competitive hourly compensation based on experience.
