Company description
Sweet Hollow Farm is a small diversified vegetable farm in Victor, Idaho, nestled at the base of the Tetons. We grow high-quality produce using a mix of no-till and organic farming practices, while working to strengthen our local food system through stewardship, education, and community connection.
Our vision extends beyond growing vegetables. We believe farms can serve as places where people connect—to the land, to their food, and to one another. Through thoughtful land management, educational programming, and partnerships with local organizations, we strive to create a farm that is both economically viable and deeply rooted in community.
As our family and business evolve, we're exploring new models of land access that help the next generation of farmers. We believe supporting independent growers is one of the best ways to build resilient local agriculture, and we're excited to partner with someone ready to shape the next chapter of Sweet Hollow Farm.
business description
Established Vegetable Farm Business & Future Ownership Opportunity
Sweet Hollow Farm is offering a rare opportunity for an entrepreneurial farmer to take over and grow an established vegetable farming operation in beautiful Teton Valley, Idaho.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced grower who has dreamed of owning and operating a farm but has been limited by the high cost of purchasing agricultural land. Rather than starting from scratch, you'll have the opportunity to step into an established operation with productive farmland, existing infrastructure, and strong community recognition.
This is more than a business opportunity—it's a potential farm succession opportunity.
The farm includes approximately 5 irrigated acres, greenhouse space, irrigation infrastructure, wash and pack facilities, storage, and access to equipment (subject to final agreement). Sweet Hollow Farm has previously operated a successful CSA, sold through farmers markets and wholesale accounts, and built meaningful relationships throughout the local food community.
Ideal Qualifications
We're looking for someone who has:
- Three or more years of commercial vegetable production experience (preferred)
- Experience planning and managing crop production from seed to harvest
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience hiring and managing a team
- The ability to work independently and make sound business decisions
- Experience selling through CSA, farmers markets, wholesale, or direct-to-consumer channels
- A commitment to regenerative agriculture and responsible land stewardship
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- The physical ability to perform the demands of commercial farming
We are seeking someone who wants to build and operate a profitable farm business while stewarding the land with integrity and vision. The selected operator will have the flexibility to develop their own production plan, markets, and business model while benefiting from an established foundation.
For the right candidate, this opportunity may begin as a lease or partnership with the potential to purchase the farm business and, over time, potentially the real estate itself. Our goal is to create a long-term pathway for the next generation of farmers by matching the right person with the right opportunity.
Whether you're an experienced farm manager ready to own your own operation, an established grower looking to expand, or an entrepreneurial farmer searching for a permanent home, we'd love to start a conversation.
