Job description
Warehouse Order Fulfillment Responsibilities:
Assist with the pack: Assist Happy Dirt’s fulfillment leadership in routing, preparing, picking and organizing orders for the fulfillment team.
Participate in the safe and efficient flow of incoming product to ensure cold chain
Help maintain cooler and inventory organization
Successfully complete training on the safe use and handling of materials and Happy Dirt equipment
Attend and participate in Fulfillment Team meetings
Politely and clearly communicate with customers and vendors
Assist Fulfillment Manager or Operations Manager with repairs or maintenance work as needed.
The Fulfillment specialist will be trained to complete all related tasks and will stand-in for the Fulfillment Assist or Fulfillment Manager as necessary including:
Printing, organizing, and processing order picks from our ERP
Printing and organizing customer invoices from our ERP
Organizing routes with guidance from Logistics Manager
Troubleshooting order-related issues with the sales team
Support QIC and Shipping Receiving department when necessary (and when capacity allows); cross train on specific QIC and Shipping/Receiving tasks
Food Safety & Custodial Responsibilities:
Help clean Happy Dirt’s warehouse, coolers, and trucks
Maintain Happy Dirt’s waste and recycling program
Maintain Happy Dirt’s pest prevention and food safety programs
Accurately complete and maintain cleaning logs
Understand and comply with OSHA safety policies
Report facilities issues to Fulfillment Manager
Job Requirements:
Must be able to consistently lift 55lbs without assistance
Must be able to lift 55-70lbs with assistance
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, twist and perform a variety of other physical functions on a consistent basis
Must be able to walk and stand on concrete floors for prolonged periods of time
Must be able to work in varying environments including the ability to withstand cold temperatures (with proper protective clothing) for long periods of time
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of fresh produce handling preferred
Forklift/electric pallet jack certified preferred
A keen attention to detail and accuracy
Experience implementing food safety sanitation and cleaning protocols
Experience conducting inventory counts
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and Google Drive applications
Proficiency in business and inventory ERP software
Possible Shifts:
Monday - Friday
In-time: 9:00AM to 12:00 PM
Out-time: 5:00PM or 8:00PM (some days may run slightly longer)
Sunday: 12pm-6pm
Saturday: future possibilities
Hours & Pay:
Full time (35 – 40 hours/week)
$18-20 with full benefits
