Kitchen Manager
Café Landwer – Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY
Café Landwer is looking for an experienced, hands-on Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house team. We're a high-volume Mediterranean restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, brunch, and catering in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities
Lead and supervise daily kitchen operations.
Manage, coach, and develop BOH staff while maintaining a positive team environment.
Create prep lists and ensure efficient kitchen organization.
Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
Monitor inventory, place vendor orders, and control food costs.
Ensure proper food safety, sanitation, and NYC Health Department compliance.
Schedule kitchen staff and manage labor costs.
Train new employees and uphold Café Landwer recipes and standards.
Work closely with the General Manager and Front of House to ensure smooth service.
Troubleshoot kitchen issues and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of kitchen management experience in a high-volume restaurant.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Experience with inventory management, ordering, and food cost control.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
Ability to thrive under pressure and lead by example.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
Mediterranean cuisine experience is a plus but not required.
