AM Bread Baker (south san francisco)

Salary: $22-24/hr plus tips (around $3-$4/hr), Hourly DOE
Location: South San Francisco, 94080
Schedule: Tue-Sat, 3:00am – 11:30am (varies)
Summary:
Performs a variety of baking duties and assist with the preparation of bread, Viennoiserie and pastry products to be delivered to Thorough Bread and Pastry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare and bake a variety of products according to established formulas
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area including utensils and equipment
• Cross train as required by your manager
• Monitor and maintain established quality and brand standards
• Receive and stock deliveries and store them according to FIFO
• Mentor intern(s) and incorporate them into production when appropriate
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties s assigned: duties, and/or responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice
Minimum Job Requirements:
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Good communication skills
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a bakery production environment
• Must be able to work early morning shifts, weekends and holidays
• US Work eligibility
• Must provide your own transportation
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
• Problem solver and self-starter
• Detailed oriented, efficient, organized and works with a sense of urgency
• Math skills involving fractions, decimals and knowledge of metric system
• Passionate about baking
Compensation
this position is: hourly, $20/hr +
