Company description
We believe the holidays are better when you make a little mess and a lot of memories. Our Charcuterie Chalet and Charcuterie Tree kits help you turn quality ingredients into edible creations that are fun to build, share and devour.
Whether you're hosting the girls, trying to outdo last year's holiday spread, or creating a new family tradition, you’ll savor your time with Edible Architecture.
Job description
A love letter from your future:
Dear Production/Ops Manager,
Does a perfectly executed production run give you the same satisfaction it gives me? I hope so — because I love getting it juuuuuust right.
Edible Architecture isn't like other CPG food companies. We’re manufacturing Charcuterie Chalets and CharcuTrees, after all, so we don’t take ourselves too seriously. Yes, we have production deadlines and shipping windows, because this is a business — but we hit them by problem solving. When a co-packer timeline slips or a shipment goes sideways, we get curious, get creative, and figure it out together.
When I first found you, I knew immediately you were built for this. That systems brain of yours, the genuine satisfaction you get from a perfectly closed production loop, and your comfort navigating the beautiful chaos of a fast-growing food brand — it all lined up with who we are and what we're building.
Edible Architecture is in our third year, we appeared on Shark Tank, and we are just getting started. Our mission is to bring people together through edible food kits built around the holidays — the kind that turn a kitchen table into a memory. Our products are on shelves at Costco, World Market, and Aldi and 50+ nationwide and regional retailers. You're excited about this job because you love food, you love seeing a product move from the production floor to customer hands, and you know how to build the infrastructure that makes it repeatable at scale. You're detail-oriented, proactive, and you don't just follow systems — you build the ones that don't exist yet.
You've got the operations instincts, QA rigor, and Airtable fluency we were looking for... and you LOVE what we're making here.
Sincerely,
Avital
JOB DESCRIPTION
This role requires being based in the Dallas – Fort Worth, TX area. Our co-packer is located in Arlington, TX, and regular in-person coordination is part of the job.
Required Skills:
-- Attention to detail, ability to follow complex written instructions, manage multiple timelines, and meet hard deadlines
-- QA experience with food supply chains — you understand refrigeration and what's required to keep our product fresh.
-- Positive, growth mindset and team-driven approach
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all types of folks
-- Systems thinker — you build infrastructure before problems happen, not after
-- Comfortable wearing many hats — in a small, fast-growing company, the job description is always expanding and you lean into that
-- Adaptability and willingness to adopt new tools and processes as the company scales
-- Confidence to surface problems early and engage in productive debates to find the best solutions
What you'll be doing:
-- Co-packer liaison: serve as the primary day-to-day contact with our production partner in Arlington, TX; coordinate production runs, QA checks, and scheduling
-- Production timeline management: own the calendar from raw material orders through finished goods across our seasonal, holiday-focused product lines; flag risks before they become delays
-- Inventory management: track stock levels and place orders so we're never caught short heading into a launch window
-- Shipment tracking: monitor inbound and outbound freight and maintain real-time visibility in Airtable
-- Airtable systems: build and maintain the operational infrastructure that keeps production going
Position Summary:
Full-time, salaried position. Must be based in the Dallas–Fort Worth, TX area. Must be authorized to work in the USA.
The Operations & Productions Manager owns the production and supply chain side of Edible Architecture's physical product business. We're a small, fast-growing company — which means this role has real ownership and real variety. You are the connective tissue between our co-packer, our inventory, and our retail partners, including Costco, World Market, and Aldi. You report to the company owner, Avital, who supports you with context, decisions, and resources, and gets out of your way once you're running. You'll participate in cross-functional calls where you represent the operations perspective, advocate for what the production floor actually needs, and help the team make smarter decisions about what we build and when.
Compensation
this position is: salaried, $50,000 - $75,000
