JOB OVERVIEW
At YOM we spark joy in our communities with ice cream and our Event Team is an essential part of this mission. The Event Operations Lead is the foundation of our Event Team. This is a fast-paced detail-oriented support role focusing on the execution of community events, including preparation, transportation, and customer engagement.
CORE CHARACTERISTICS
- Employment
- Full-time: Weekends + some week days
- Seasonal through October with opportunities for long term employment
- Compensation: $20/hr + tips (~$5-10/hr for staffed events)
- Location: greater Metro Atlanta area, indoor/outdoor, primarily at farmers markets, festivals, and conventions
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Event Operations Lead is responsible for the preparation, management and transportation of event materials and team members to and from locations around metro Atlanta and staffing events as needed. This includes but is not limited to customer engagement, sales support and on-site problem-solving. Other responsibilities include the occasional delivery of orders to customers and other minor logistics support when available.
REQUIREMENTS
- Personal vehicle that can pull a trailer (trailer provided)
- Drivers License
- Clean driving record required to fulfill job duties
- Ability to push a 50-75 lbs ice cream cart
Compensation
this position is: hourly, $20/hr +
