The SEED School of Los Angeles County (SEED LA) opened in Fall 2022 as California’s first urban

public, tuition-free college preparatory boarding school and the fourth SEED school in the nation. Building

one grade level at a time beginning with ninth grade, SEED LA serves students in grades 9–12 with the

goal of empowering approximately 400 scholars to achieve their full potential through a comprehensive

24-hour learning environment that integrates academics, student life, and college readiness.

Job description

Help build the future of school food! The SEED School of Los Angeles County is seeking a Kitchen Service Associate to join our in-house culinary team serving 280 boarding school students through scratch-cooked, culturally responsive meals. Pay: $23–26/hour, plus health, dental, vision, life insurance, paid holidays, sick leave, and a generous 403(b). On-campus housing may be available. We're looking for a dependable team player with commercial kitchen experience who is passionate about food, student wellness, sustainability, and helping grow our Garden-to-Table initiative. Come cook with purpose.

this position is: hourly, varies DOE, $23.00 - $26.00
