Company description
Retaaza is a woman-owned B Corp and social enterprise that strives to make local food more accessible and affordable, directly supports our communities’ farmers, reconnects consumers to their food, and feeds families struggling with food insecurity. We are building robust relationships with local farmers, community organizations, local businesses, and individuals to create a nimble, streamlined approach that is making a measurable impact economically, socially, and environmentally across our communities.
Job description
The Value Chain Coordinator plays a central role in keeping Retaaza's local food supply chain running smoothly, from the moment produce leaves the farm to the moment it reaches our customers' hands. This position sits at the intersection of procurement, inventory management, and customer service: you will place and track purchase orders with local farms and vendors, plan inventory to match demand while minimizing waste, and serve as a key point of contact for wholesale customers, farms, and internal teams. You'll help translate the day-to-day complexity of sourcing from dozens of small, independent local farms and vendors into a reliable, well-organized operation — anticipating supply gaps, communicating changes proactively, and problem-solving in real time when schedules or availability shift. On occasion, you may also deliver local produce to customers across metro Atlanta using Retaaza vehicles. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will directly ensure that our customers receive the freshest produce and goods, and that our farm partners are paid fairly and on time. This is a hybrid position, our warehouse is located on the Westside of Atlanta and 3 days per week on site will be required.
