T&C is a family-owned company founded in August 1957 – we just celebrated our 69th birthday! We currently have 6 markets: Town & Country Market, Lakemont / Ballard / Shoreline / Bainbridge Island / Mill Creek and Central Market Poulsbo.

We have over 1000 employees and our average tenure is 8 years – we have 146 employees with 20+ years with us and the longest current tenure at 55 years.

Job description

A TYPICAL DAY WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING . . .

• Works in Food Service & Restaurant Operations doing prep, cooking, product rotation, & packaging
• Establishes & maintains effective working relationships with employees, guests, market support staff & vendor community
• Cultivates and maintains an integral and collaborative environment
• Ensures the adherence to Ready for Business standards throughout the kitchen
• Assists in training and development of employees
• Establishes and maintains a 360-feedback process including guests, staff and leadership
• Provides and role models excellent customer service
• Maintains the integrity of our brand and marketing expressions
• Maintains kitchen in a neat, clean and orderly manner
• Ensures food service compliance with local, state and federal laws
• Demonstrates attitude of service to staff and guests
• Keeps up on industry trends, standards, and changes
• Supports and follows all company and department policies
• Supports and follows all safety/security policies and sustainability programs
• Operates within the Company’s Core Values, Company Brand, and Business Principles

• Working knowledge of all food service areas, inventory management, product rotation, ordering & forecasting

• 18 years or older

Compensation

this position is: hourly, varies DOE, $27.15 - $28.45
